Preparing for adult life is something that we all have to do. We at SiCC & SLCC believe that we need all the same skills as our non looked after peers, but we think we need to learn these a lot faster, as the likelihood is we will be living independently at a younger age. Catch 22 have put together this amazing booklet which has been designed to highlight some of the things that you are probably already thinking about, and provide tips on where you can get information and support, if needed. All children looked after must have a Pathway Plan. When you turn 16, you, your social worker and other important people in your life will start to think about how the council will support you to be able to live independently and fulfill your dreams and aspirations for your future. Your plan will detail the support you will be given. Become have produced this useful fact sheet to help you on your Pathway to Success.
