Positive People
Is a new programme which aims to help anyone who is over 18 and not in work. The programme is designed to help you get into work by developing your skills in things such as; CV writing, confidence building and digital technology. For full details you can download their leaflet here.

Career Advice
Did you know if you are attending the jobcentre, you can get free career advice from the National Careers Service, this can be over the phone or face-to-face. All you have to do is call the local office on 0117 4030150 or you can visit their website here.

Are You Looking for an Apprenticeship?
Then look no further. The government have created a website where you can search for the apprenticeship of your choice. You can find the site here. Somerset Skills & Learning also offer apprenticeships, check out their current vacancies here or for apprenticeships with Somerset County Council.

Do you need some help with finding a job, sorting a CV, writing a Cover Letter or Interview Tips? The government have a very useful site to help you with all of these.

Prince’s Trust Team Programme.
Are You 16-25? Are you unemployed? Do you want to get a qualification? Gain new skills? Make new friends? And have fun? Then this 12 week programme could be for you, it is designed to help you build the skills and confidence needed to get you into work, education or training. You can find out more here.

National Citizen Service.
Is a once in a lifetime experience for 15-17 year-olds that builds skills and confidence, helping young people to get ahead in work and life. Check out the websitefor more information and to book your place.
